  • This may seem odd.. but how do I combine the three parts in Windows to get the VM?

  • I used Total Commander, but probably there are other utilities and file managers which can do it for you.

  • What is the file format? Is it the compressed archive (RAR or something like that) or ISO image?

  • RAR, as you can see in the crc file, if you download it.

  • It would be nice to know is it i386 or x86_64 before downloading...

  • I'm assuming most of you are using windows, and since vmwareserver isn't in 64bit (yet?), I'd have to assume this would be i386.

  • the download from part 1 and 3 is EXTREMLY slow (about 5KB/s), part 2 is ok. I tried it on a couple of days - every day the same. Why?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 3:42 PM

  • Now the download stopped (0KB/s !!!) - bad web-host?

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 4:14 PM

  • 5kb/s download speed, no chance to get it !

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 2:48 AM

  • The download link for the Second Part appears to be broken...

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 8:57 AM

  • Why isn't there a torrent link? That would be very polite.

  • same here: Part one and part three with speed of about 16.5 kb/s while part two comes with very fast 105 kb/s....

  • I'm using HJsplit now, it seems to work to piece the files together :)

  • Another way to combine the file is from the command prompt with the following command:

    copy /B OpenSUSE_10[1].1_-_Gnome.001 +OpenSUSE_10[1].1_-_Gnome.002 +OpenSUSE_10[1].1_-_Gnome.003 "OpenSUSE 10.1 - Gnome.rar"
